Traverna Tonelli

1701 Franklin Street, Michigan City, Indiana 219-243-7181

Farm fresh and locally sourced ingredients, Trattoria Tonelli is one of our FAVORITE restaurants for rustic Italian cuisine.  Set inside an old brick and stone building, the cozy and inviting atmosphere is second to none.  High quality ingredients, and meals made from scratch, the chef prepares a unique nightly entrée.  Servers are highly attentive and suggest meal and drink pairings.  Extensive wine and cocktail list, and the limoncello is made in-house. Dinner begins at 5:00 pm CST.

  • 🐟BF Local Tip:  If you prefer a white wine, order a bottle of the Gavi as it complements most dishes.  The calamari and octopus are good appetizer selections, and the ravioli and salmon entrees are mouthwatering.
