Description: As a locally owned and family operated business, Bluefish Vacation Rentals (BVR) has been honored to welcome guests to Southwest Michigan for over 20 years. Our team is made up of talented and passionate professionals, all dedicated to providing 5-star client service to both our property owners and guests.

We are seeking self-motivated, dedicated, and hardworking professionals to join our Housekeeping team. As a BVR Housekeeper, you will create safe and welcoming environments for our guests and homeowners by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining properties according to the high standards for which our company is known.

Compensation:

  • Begins at $20/hour; higher pay depends on experience
  • Paid weekly

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling with no evening or night shifts
  • Weekend availability a must with additional hours available based on performance
  • Day shifts run from 10 AM-5 PM, EST
  • Seasonal, with an opportunity to be year round based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and welcoming environment by cleaning, organizing, and maintaining properties based on BVR high standards and company expectations
  • Conduct weekly inventory walkthroughs
  • Keep linen closets organized and stocked
  • Communicate with department managers to note missing items or property damage
  • Replenish weekly consumables
  • Attend training in safety policies and procedures

Requirements Include:

  • Previous hospitality or cleaning experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Smartphone with ability to download & use the Bluefish Vacation Rentals scheduling app
  • Internet access
  • Personal email address
  • Professional, self-motivated, and detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling with no evening or night shifts
  • Weekend availability a must with additional hours available based on performance
  • Day shifts run from 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM, ET
  • Seasonal, with an opportunity to be year round based on performance

We are seeking a self-motivated, dedicated, and hardworking professional to join our Bluefish team as an Office Operations Assistant. Our ideal candidate would have experience in hospitality, be customer oriented, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. Attention to detail and the ability to think ahead and solve problems quickly is a must.

Day-to-day responsibilities to support the Director of Operations, ensuring all back office departments run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Begins at $20/hour; higher pay depends on experience

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling with no evening or night shifts
  • Weekend availability a must with additional hours available based on performance
  • Day shifts run from 8:30a-5:00p ET
  • Part-time, based on seasonal business needs

  • Maintain a welcoming office environment for staff and clients
  • Establish and maintaining open, collaborative relationships with managers and staff
  • Create, assign, and follow up with work orders to ensure that issues are resolved on a timely basis
  • Communicate daily and consistently with the cleaning and maintenance team, guest services, and management to ensure jobs are scheduled and completed on time
  • Communicate with department managers to note missing items or property damage
  • Oversee and process loss inventory and damage claims
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
  • Attend training in company policies and procedures
