• As you follow the glowing pathway, you’ll find many decorated storefronts showcasing the artistic side of each business and creating a Window Wonderland. 
• You also have a chance to win local gift cards by way of eating, shopping, and playing your way throughout Southwest Michigan. Here’s how it works: Keep all receipts from every store or eatery you visit from November 17th to December 17th, and bring them to the St. Joe Today Welcome Center. You’ll earn one entry for every $25 you spend, and the St. Joe Today will draw winners throughout December.

Winter Family Fun Day

Celebrate Christmas early at River Saint Joe in Buchanan with their Winter Family Fun Day. Crafts and games will be available indoors and outside, ensuring little ones can escape the cold while still having holiday fun. We also heard they have a  special guest flying in from the North Pole!

Light Up the Bluff

In St. Joseph, Light up the Bluff will decorate Lake Bluff Park, turning it into a magical winter scene. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the St. Joseph High School Choir will kick off the festivities with Christmas carols, leading to the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m. The dazzling display of one million lights will illuminate the park until Valentine’s Day in Michigan’s Most Romantic City.

Winter Magic at Fernwood Botanical Garden

Another festive light display, Winter Magic at Fernwood Botanical Garden, starts November 24th and will illuminate the property through January 6th. The professionally designed artistic display is a beautiful place to make memories thanks to its unique light tunnels, a winter craft station, and captivating light sculptures. Three fire pits will be available for those wanting to warm up as they meander throughout the grounds, and the hosts will have snacks and seasonal drinks like hot chocolate. Winter Magic is a popular holiday event, so advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged.

Holly Jolly Artisan Market

On November 25th, the Holly Jolly Artisan Market in Niles will showcase a thoughtfully selected array of local and handmade artisans, small shops, and boutiques. Enjoy holiday shopping with a mimosa or coffee from Gabrizio Bakery in hand. Santa will make a special appearance, and you can capture the festive moment with available portraits from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Makers Market

Another way to celebrate local crafters and small businesses is the Makers Market at the Box Factory in St. Joseph. You’ll find over forty esteemed artisans on three floors inside a historic landmark. Admission is only $5; you’ll surely get your money’s worth if you’re into handcrafted keepsakes.
