AMAZING GETAWAY
by Leonora Rivera
This was an amazing getaway experience! The house itself was spectacular with all of the space and room for all of us. (9 adults & 2 kids)
The pool was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing! There is also a fire pit which was definitely a hit for us! After our time in the pool we made s\'mores almost every night.
A great place to escape the city life.
Definitely recommend!!
Perfect for a summer girls’ weekend
by Jen J.
We rented this house for a girls’ weekend and it was wonderful. The pool was so beautiful and well maintained, and the temperature was great. You really feel secluded at the house because there are a lot of trees and greenery, which makes it very relaxing. Girls enjoyed the mile or so walk to the beach, and in new buffalo we enjoyed nice restaurants, shopping and bars. Inside the house was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable. We would absolutely recommend this place and these hosts again!
Gracious Space, Inside and Out
by Susan J.
We had a lovely time with teen and preteen grandkids and their parents (who needed to work several hours each day). The pool and hot tub were great pastimes, and a local go kart-bumper-car and trampoline-basketball place was hilarious. The kitchen is amazingly outfitted and the generous grill was super because we do love to cook! And I have never slept in a better bed in a B and B. Riptides kept us off the beach, but we found plenty to do and hope to return next year.
We had a wonderful time in Michigan City!

We had a wonderful time in Michigan City! The house was clean and accommodating to our four families. The outside spaces were perfect for catching up as the kids played in the pool.

Perfect getaway for families!
by C Jackson
My family and I stayed at Seagrass hideaway during a family reunion and it was absolute perfection! Not only was the property ideal—large common areas and bedrooms, ample bathrooms, modern amenities (the laundry was especially appreciated!), gorgeous pool and hot tub area, I could go on! We had many groups of people—everyone from the infants to the grandmas had a blast and were accommodated. Besides the spectacular property, the location is unparalleled. It was so great to walk/ride to the beach and enjoy Lake Michigan, as well as the surrounding areas. Thank you for a wonderful time—we made memories we will cherish forever!
Yes, I would love to stay here again!

Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) enjoyed a wonderful week at Seagrass Hideaway. I highly recommend this property and will be happy to return.
As I look back at our stay, the backyard was the highlight of the house. The deck was huge, the pool was well-heated, large and with a maximum depth of 4 feet. The landscaping was a delight, although it could use some tending.
The house was well-equipped for our stay. Plenty of towels, including beach towels, lots of dishes and silverware, a wide range of cooking equipment, several board games, beach equipment including folding chairs and a beach umbrella all added to our enjoyment.
The four bedrooms served us well. The kids’ room was a hit with the children. There were two exists from this room, one leads to a rather steep open stairway to the first floor, and the second is through the queen bedroom. It would have been nice to have had a lock on that door to afford privacy when needed. All the mattress were very comfortable.
The primary bedroom, on the first floor, was spacious with an ensuite bathroom. The shower stall in that bathroom was small and also set up for use as a steam room.
The screen house was a hit for several members of our group and the front living room TV was enjoyed by the kids. The dining room table had room for 10 which was what we needed.
The location of the house was excellent, 8 minutes to New Buffalo. It took 20 minutes to walk to the beach, which was small, sandy and lovely especially at sunset. Parking is not allowed near the beach entrance.
